February Regular Meeting Agenda Item #29 Item Title Construction contract award for Chiller Replacement at Middleburg High School Issue/Rationale Bid opening was held Friday, January 27, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. The project had seven (7) bidders and was advertised three (3) times. Recommended Action Award the contract to the low bidder as submitted to ThermaServe, Inc. for a total bid award of $231,345.00. Financial Impact Funding for this project has been budgeted, through revision, for fiscal year 2005-06 of the Capital Projects Plan. This project was not originally planned for fiscal year 2005-06. Due to a chiller failure at MHS this project had to be funded. A revision to Section IV (scheduled for School Board approval on 2/16/06) had to be initiated. Submitted By Thomas L.
